Project Overview
The scope of this project is the implementation of a traffic control system specifically for a freeway section having a total length of 41km, including the 12.9km long Xueshan Tunnel, the fifth longest roadway tunnel in the world.
The Pinglin Traffic Control Center is the nerve center for monitoring and controlling road traveling conditions while the installation of different types of traffic control equipment along the route section for the detection, monitoring, information display, traffic regulation, wire communication and radio communication are used for facilitating traffic conditions and satisfying traffic management requirements of emergency incidents so as to ensure the safety of all road users.
CECI provided the construction supervision and related technical consulting services during construction for implementing the following types of equipment and facilities
