Project Overview

Taipei Veterans General Hospital is a national level medical center that provides medical services, carries out training of medical personnel and engages in medical Research and Development (R&D). A new Medical and Science Technology Building was opened in 2008 as a facility to continue to make important contributions in integrating and advancing the nation's basic and clinical medical research.

 

With a floor area of 43,700 square meters, the building has two basement levels and 10 above ground levels and houses cutting edge equipment for carrying out medical research as well as an information technology center and animal laboratory center.

 

Its laboratories meet Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) international standards in helping to establish a solid foundation for advancing Taiwan's medical research and technology.
