Project Overview

The overall Strategic Roads Infrastructure Project (SRIP) being financed under loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) consists of 22 packages whereas Consultant Supervision Consultant CSC-1 was responsible for supervising about 15 packages of Civil Works (CW) with a construction length of about 219 kilometers of road located in the provinces of Jambi, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Central Java and East Java.

 

The Project objective is to ensure that high quality construction is achieved in time, within budget, and that all work is carried out in full compliance with the approved engineering designs, technical specifications, agreed work schedule, the term and conditions of the contract documents and as per sound engineering practices.

CECI was the lead firm of the Consultant Team responsible for:

 

  • Providing construction supervision for civil engineering works implemented;

  • Reviewing design during implementation of the civil engineering works;

  • Providing support for engineers;

  • Providing general support in overall project management to all implementing agencies;

  • Monitoring and evaluating pre-contract activities;

  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of all sub - projects.
