Project Overview

The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Public Works and Housing is carrying out an infrastructure program of "Accelerating Infrastructure Delivery through Better Engineering Services Project (ESP)" which aims to help meet the target of the development of the construction of infrastructure facilities in the years 2015 - 2019 and beyond.

 

The Project is financed through a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing's Directorate General of Highways.

 

CECI was the lead member of the Consultant Team providing project preparation services for Project Preparation Consultant (PPC) Package 4 which involved the Client's public investment projects in roads and bridges. Services provided included:

​

• preparation of feasibility studies;

• development of detailed engineering designs;

• preparation of traffic impact analysis for flyovers and underpasses;

• preparation of environmental impact assessments and land acquisition documents;

• development of bidding documents;

• explanation of designs at pre-construction meetings.

The scope of this project is located in the southern ​coastal regions of East Java Province and includes road segments initially having a combined overall length of approximately 208 kilometers as well as 42 new bridges with a total length of 1,925 meters.
