Project Overview

 

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Metro Line 1 is funded by Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) and the State budget, stretching from Ben Thanh Market to Suoi Tien Terminal and having a total length of 19.7 kilometers.

 

The line consists of a 2.6 kilometer long underground section with 3 stations, and a 17.1 kilometer long elevated section with 11 stations plus the Long Binh Depot.

 

CECI is providing the track engineering detailed design services to the Contractor covering construction and installation for all of the track works including

 

  • track arrangement,

  • track bed arrangement,

  • turnout arrangement,

  • Rail Expansion Joint (REJ) arrangement and location, 

  • bufferstop arrangement,

  • welds location,

  • welding plan,

  • sleeper spacing,

  • embedded pipe,

  • shop drawings, and

  • as-build drawings, etc.
