Mr. Cheng Yun-Peng Assumes Responsibility as New Chairman of CECI

At the 3rd interim meeting of CECI’s 6th Board of Directors on July 7, 2025, Mr. Cheng Yun-Peng was appointed Chairman of the Board. His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and opportunity for the company’s future development.

In his remarks, Chairman Cheng expressed his gratitude to former Chairman Shih Yi-Fang, President Liao Shyne-Ryeu, all CECI colleagues, and the members of the Board of Directors and Supervisors. He emphasized that CECI’s significant achievements and contributions to the engineering sector are recognized not only within the professional community, but also by the government and the broader public.

Chairman Cheng stated that he will lead CECI with a commitment to excellence, guided by three core principles:

1. A Public Enterprise in Service, Though Not in Form: While CECI is not classified as a state-owned enterprise, it must meet the highest expectations of both central and local governments in terms of policy execution and efficiency, ensuring the utmost quality in its services.

   
   

2. Governance at the Highest Standards: As the company’s annual revenue approaches the NT$10 billion mark, CECI should adopt governance practices in line with those of publicly listed companies, further refining its organizational structure and management systems to lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

   
   

3. An Industry Leader Committed to Healthy Competition and Collaboration: As the leading engineering consultancy in Taiwan, CECI will engage in healthy competition with both public and private peers, foster mutual growth, and work closely with partner firms to advance Taiwan’s engineering consultancy sector—achieving both quality and efficiency in pursuit of its vision.
