CECI Employees Participate in the Neihu Science and Technology Park Blood Donation Campaign

With the recent critical shortage of blood across Taipei’s blood banks occurring at a time when Taiwan is recovering from a COVID-19 outbreak the authorities are seeking help assuring the city residents’ help in making more blood donations for all those who desperately need it.

During the latest one of the regular donation campaigns organized by the Neihu Science and Technology Park Development Association in cooperation with the Taipei Blood Center on August 4, CECI employees responded enthusiastically to this call donating over 100 bags of blood in a single day. The activity was held from 9:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon with strict pandemic prevention measures observed and social distancing carefully implemented throughout the entire event. A total of 137 employees donated blood, including CECI’s Chairman Dr. Shih Yi-Fang.

Dr. Shih stressed CECI’s unwavering commitment to being a responsible society member and contributing to the common efforts of beating the COVID-19 pandemic while improving the overall situation with the availability of blood for all those who need it.
