CECI Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Central Bank of Eswatini

A delegation from the Central Bank of the Kingdom of Eswatini (CBE) led by Governor Dr. Philemon F. Mnisi visited CECI Headquarters in Taipei on May 22, 2024 to engage in another round of discussions regarding collaboration between the two organizations. The delegation also included such high-ranking CBE officers as Chief Operating Officer Mr. Mfan’fikile Dlamini, Chief Legal Officer Mr. Sikhumbuzo Fakudze, as well as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini to Taiwan H.E. Promise Msibi, his wife Mrs. Futhi Brightness Msibi, and Embassy Counselor Mrs. Nontokozo Shongwe-Tsabedze. 


The guests were warmly welcomed by CECI Chairman of the Board Dr. Shih Yi-Fang and other senior executives. In his remarks to the distinguished guests, Dr. Shih expressed the company’s appreciation of the importance the CBE visit, as well as the trust placed in the company. He stressed CECI’s participation in multiple other major undertakings in the Kingdom, where CECI invariably provides high-quality and comprehensive engineering and technical services while adhering to the best traditions of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm, witnessing the rapid progress in the development of the Kingdom together with its people.


The CBE Governor Dr. Mnisi praised CECI’s provision of the vision for the new HQ complex in Eswatini, which had also been presented to His Majesty the King Mswati III during the recent CBE 50-year anniversary ceremony. Governor Mnisi expressed confidence in CECI’s technical capabilities as Taiwan’s largest engineering consulting firm with many years of invaluable experience in Eswatini. He went on to point out that with the assistance of CECI, the new CBE complex project would surely be completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.


The meeting between the two sides, held in an atmosphere of mutual trust, concluded with both sides signing an agreement to commence a new chapter in the long-term bilateral collaboration.
